The HiQ make Power Electronics Trainer Kits provides extensive training in the principles of  SCR control circuits. The trainer modules can be used as the basis of a programme,  Starting with the principles of uncontrolled rectification to simple control using SCRs, then progressing through Single and Three Phase controlled rectification with their associated firing requirements.

The characteristics of various loads also can be  studied including inductive and resistive under half and full wave, single and three phase rectification, both controlled and uncontrolled.

All the Trainer kits Are supplied with 25A. SCRs with dv/dt and di/dt protections, MCBs and fast blowing Fuses are provided to protect the devices from the short circuit, overload and miss-application. And each unit is having a built-in Firing Circuit and a soft start switch.. The  Circuit diagram printed on the front panel and the  test points are provided on the front  panel  and terminated them on a 4mm binding post terminal cum socket. To facilitate the user to construct the circuit and make the interconnections by use of patch cords and  to measure the readings & verify the results on a cro.
